Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings – Cross
The stainless steel cross which Tubesolutions supply is butt-welding stainless steel pipe fittings, the main function of cross is to make a branch of the flow in a piping system. The stainless steel crosses are often available with butt-welding equal crosses or reducing crosses, Equal cross is also called Straight Cross.
For equal cross/straight cross, the center-to-end dimension of branch is same with the run, while for reducing cross, the center-to-end dimension of branch is smaller than the run to obtain the desired flow and pressure through the piping system.
