1、 Chemical composition

The main chemical components of C44300 copper pipes include copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), tin (Sn), and trace amounts of arsenic (As) and other elements. Its specific chemical composition is roughly as follows:

Copper (Cu): about 69.0%~71.0%

Zinc (Zn): surplus, forms a solid solution with copper, enhances the strength of the alloy

Tin (Sn): 0.8% 1.3% (also known as 0.8% 1.2%), improves corrosion resistance

Arsenic (As): trace, usually about 0.03%~0.06%, further inhibits zinc removal corrosion and improves corrosion resistance

In addition, according to research and production practice, adding trace amounts of boron, nickel and other elements to C44300 can further improve its corrosion resistance.

2、 Performance characteristics

Strong corrosion resistance: C44300 copper pipes exhibit high corrosion resistance in various environments such as atmosphere, steam, oil, and seawater. The addition of trace amounts of arsenic significantly inhibited the zinc removal corrosion of the alloy, thereby improving its corrosion resistance.

Good mechanical properties: C44300 copper tube has excellent tensile strength and elongation, which can meet the needs of various mechanical loads.

Easy to process: C44300 copper tube is easy to perform pressure processing in both cold and hot states, such as forging, casting, cold drawing, etc. Meanwhile, it is also easy to weld and lead weld.

Widely used: Due to its excellent performance, C44300 copper tube is widely used in the manufacturing of various valves, pump bodies, pipelines, seawater coolers, and corrosion-resistant parts on ships.

3、 Application Fields
